Session Description:

Interested in peer review but not sure where to start? This session will provide an overview of the peer review process, including the value of peer review to your career, to authors, and to the profession. As a step-by-step guide to expert peer review, this session will provide first-time and experienced peer reviewers with resources for preparing an effective and efficient review report.

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the peer review process, including why it is important and how to get involved.
  • Discuss strategies for performing an effective and efficient peer review.
